Help, need to remove crank pulley, can anyone point me in the right direction as I need to remove the crank case. Bit if carnage this morning caused I think by the idler pulley breaking up

Alternator bolts sheared in the bottom of the holes I believe [emoji24]

You will need the special nut spanner , friend of mine had the Same problem recently he tried to make one but ended up borrowing one from the local dealership.

Yes, I've since found out, thankfully the plumbing/heating side has customers that are in the workshop at TNS, going in Monday to discreetly borrow some bits and information ;)

That's screwed up drilling the OSR this weekend though :banghead:

Them idler pulleys are are bad for going we change them every 1000 hours along with the belts, you were lucky it did not go in to the rad on it.
