Hi Folks

I recently acquired a MF 65 Mk2 Reg No RCA264 B and I am trying to compile the history of this tractor, so if you have ever owned it, I would very much like to hear from you.

That’s a Denbighshire registration plate, the chances are it would have been supplied when new by North Wales Engineers of St.Asaph who were the main Massey/Ferguson agents in the post war era up until the 1970s.

Although most new models from that depot might have had the ‘DM’ Flintshire plate, your RCA 264B would have almost certainly been supplied by St Asaph or another NWEng. depot to a farm in the North East Wales locality.

Thanks for that
I checked the DVLA website and it appears that it was first registered in 2016.
Another reg checking site shows it as Imported but I thought imports got a Q plate not an age related plate
So it looks like it is going to take a bit of detective work.
I have ascertained it was owned by a member the Vintage Tractor and Engine Club Thames Valley Group so that’s my starting point
