MF 77 series. How to use pnumatic system to inflate a tyre

Hi

Never had a tractor with pnumatic brake system before. On the back it has a large red coupling, but normal air hoses use much smaller size.

In the toolbox I found another large red coupling with normal air hose coupling attached. Female in both ends. Is it to attach somewhere so I can use normal air coupling size?

Got a trailer with flat tyre. This would make it a lot easier.

Tractor is MF7718 Efficient spec bought in England.

My airline fits left side in pic two. The red coupling is to large.

Tractor was brand new. Wonder why I found that thing in the toolbox.. with two sizes attached together.

Can you not just plug the red end onto the black outlet which is the top pipe you can see in the left side of your first picture

Thanks for your help.

The instruction book does not cover the air system at all. Just that you should drain the tanks every day...

So, what it it really for? Just the tractor? Not possible to hook up a trailer with air brakes, as they have two lines.

I can actually fit the red coupling on the black coupling on the other side, but no air is coming out. What`s the purpose of it?

Thanks!

Trailers are 2 line brakes which is what you have
The red is emergency line
The other yellow is the service brake...ie only pressure when foot on pedal or handbrake on

Read your first post again and see that you import from the UK so need to change fitting back to Europe spec and will the run your trailer
