Our new too us 7718 is jumpy on the reverse shuttle when it gets hot, forward is fine it's just when going in to reverse, can anyone let me know the procedure for calibrating the shuttle, it may need a solenoid but first step is try the calibration.
Thanks

Have you checked the sensitivity in the dash? That’s not meant to come across patronising
Hi, yep been playing about with the settings, it seems fine until it gets well warmed up and then starts messing around, sometimes it will come to a stop then just lurch backwards, the next time it works fine.

We had the same and calibration helped for a while but it soon went out again it ended up having a new reverse solenoid in the end

That's what I have been using it for power harrowing, will see if it makes any difference doing other jobs, obviously to do with the temp of the oil.

My 6495 sometimes gives a frightening jolt in reverse. I find it happens far more often with all work lights on, so put it down to electrical issue, solenoid
