MF 7719 experiences

Overall am happy with mine it does everything ive asked of it so far.
Lifts 9.6t if that means anything because the 7718S Dyna-6 only lifts 8.1t
i bet not many looked that up.
You might find a better priced late model if you looking coz i'll bet the 7S-190 is dearer
Had a demo of the 7718s with the d6 box. Good tractor with plenty of grip and power but couldn’t live with the gearbox. Suppose that got us thinking that the 7719 could do a job for us.

Where did I mention a 7S? The thread title is ‘MF 7719 experiences’. The 7719 was available with D6 in Europe. MF’s were made in France painted yellow and sold as challenger in North America too. There is such a thing as other markets and territories.
Iam just saying the new 7S-190 is only available with DVT same as the previous 7719S its the same tractor underneath.
Find me any Europe Countries brochure with the 7719S (Tier5) in D6 then i'll agree otherwise it was never made
Yes you could buy a pre S model 7719 tractor in D6 but that was the larger chassis size tractor
Not the shorter wheelbase tier5 model these are.
I cant mind the GIMA trans (D6) backends code off hand but the larger specced one that was in all larger frame masseys from 6485 up right thru to the last of the 7720-7726
was physically impossible to fit into the shorter wheelbased tier5 7719S

Was that 19 not the longer wheelbase like the 20 upwards?

As an ex John Deere & Massey Ferguson Technician And spent a lot of time driving different makes Including fendt MF JD NH and Case with a 7719 you can’t go wrong as long as your happy with a slightly smaller cab than most on the market. And you have a operator that will drive it correctly, keep it serviced and adjust the rear brakes so the cardon brake isn’t doing the work you will be fine and yea the cab is smaller than most on the market, But everything is to hand still. There was software issues at the start with MF but if you have good dealer back up and it was updated. you won’t go wrong.

They did make a 7719 dyna 6, But you can only get a 7719s in a Vario , Which has now had another facelift as the 7s

Replaced D6 7718 with an ex demo 7719 and not been any bother only real issue was a radiator hose or intercooler hose popped which was replaced under warranty. 7718 was a good tractor also but needed guidance etc so upgrading it was going to be costly and price to change was manageable.
Have found with the agricultural world that there are fitters and there are mechanics. Anything that has been assembled has a chance to develop a fault. Despite what some may say about Massey tractors haven’t had any major issues with them and any faults have been rectified quickly but that may down to the mechanics fault finding skills. Point is it’s easy to throw parts at a problem if you don’t understand the root cause of issue leading to large bills and then brand bashing when the fault returns or is not rectified. If you rate service staff at your local dealer then it is a safe bet as the fundamental mechanics of the 7719 are proven and with new model out could be a decent discount to be had on old stock.

A 7719 is a totally different tractor to a 7719s . The former was the smallest larger wheelbase that was soon phased out. The latter a recent addition and the largest short wheelbase in the range
7719S will outclass its forefather in every way id say.
Maybes i just bought the right models i dunno but all of my current fleet are the biggest in the sizes.
I see no point it wanting the extra hp & buying the smallest in the range.
You will only regret it later on

Back to the OP i presume you maybes should have stated it was a 7719S you were on about not the model before it but id say weve figured out that's what you meant.
Factory LED lights are very good & worth every penny.
the three steps into the redesigned fuel tanks are neat & same idea on 7S of course just painted grey
there a very tough plastic of some sort so nowt to ever rust.
Tier5 changes all seem fine (sofar) it does like a drop of Ad-blu when under full load.
I have 600/65-28s up front with 650/75-38 rears & it makes that tractor totally
can still plough in furrow no probs.
But there as tall as 30" fronts & 42" rear rims would be with 540 & 650 tyres on
Factory toolbox at front of fuel tank is rather small.
These have a Single Large 12v battery on them & mine actually has a Valtra branded one... oooppss massey
Rear arms stabilizers with a pin hole to hold them where ever you set them too is neat & long overdue

7719S front axle is just better all round id say, no grease points & far more movement so it just floats over the bumps smoother i think.
Not had any issues with the 7499's setup but by heck it hardly moves much, yet must be working as its undriveable if you switch it off :ROFLMAO:
6480 is nearly as smooth as the 7719S mind. but its always been good.

7499 is a brilliant tractor for the heaviest of jobs anyways.
Recon an 8S will nearly be 3 times the money that cost me at just over 3yr old
It cant add up anymore. my current tractor fleet will hopefully see my farming days out now.
Current higher than expected cereal prices are very welcomed but all the inputs look where there heading & subs dropping
less production is the way the powers that be are pushing us weither we like it or not.
On a Rented Farm this will be yet another new challenge no doubt
