I will take photos when I go over to the farm next
It should be a good loader. a man along the road from us fed a lot of cattle with a similar setupThe 2nd boom we had to buy is abit worn so in a whiles time we will get it pinned and bushed. If we do anything heavier than what we plan we will use the concrete weight, but mostly we will be lifting light things like digger buckets etc
Will hopefully be a good job, not bad for very little money. Great uncle still uses a IH784 with Quicke 3030 loader to feed 120 cattle so think this should do our workIt should be a good loader. a man along the road from us fed a lot of cattle with a similar setup
Once we get stands made and take it on and off a few times I'm sure itl be really easyBy far the best quickest and easiest loader to get on and off
Just be sure to park on hard ground with something to push againstOnce we get stands made and take it on and off a few times I'm sure itl be really easy
Plenty of piles of stone aroundJust be sure to park on hard ground with something to push against
Good idea, will look into itFor a back weight get a Ferguson T bar and a weight that hangs from it with 2 hooks, drop it off in a couple of seconds

We had one similar years ago but dunno where it went. Our one isn't to hard to unhook, just take 2 lynch pins out of the arms and that's it offView attachment 475866like this
Any pics?I have a 188 with a 6ft 6 grain bucket, when mucking out 1 day it decided it was going to break wheel studs I think it did 3 in as many bucket loads so I put bolts and nuts in to get done then new studs asap.
I have a good muck fork and then a crap one which I only have 2 tines in for bales cheaper than a new bale spike
Grand job, looks the part they're damned heavy to work with, just god we had a chain block and pulls to move itWell, got my 80 loader fitted to the 698 today, only a few odds and bobs to finish, and then plumb it into the DS valves. Ended up not to hard to do, a couple of spacers here and there and extended the frame by 9 inches.. dammed thing is heavy to work with though.View attachment 476370 View attachment 476374
Just need to cut the front cross member off and reweld it as seen in earlier pictures as your loader came from an early 500 series tractor when the lights were lowerWell, got my 80 loader fitted to the 698 today, only a few odds and bobs to finish, and then plumb it into the DS valves.
