I will load a pic so you can see what im up to . So the loader is piped into the spools at rear just the quickest way at moment , as u can see have 10.00- 16 tyres on front but need to know what pressure to put in them when lifting weight . Now i have the manual for the loader and it says it has a lift capacity at full height of 1378 kg . Is that what it can lift in the bucket ? I struggled to lift the pallet of tiles 2 foot of ground . No counter weight at rear until i borrow 1 . I had the lever in ext 1 as said in book but just seems to lack power , do i neeed to have lever on quadrant in constant pumping to give me that extrs oomph . As before any advice much appreciated

Can we have a photo of the plumbing to the loader, I'm guessing you are using the tractor own spools? In that case no don't put it in constant pumping, I'm also assuming your tractor has ancillary pump and that pump running the spools

if that was the case why would he have to put the swichover valve to ext 1
if you want to make it lift more/faster and have an aux pump you want it in combined flow so you do need it in constant pumping

I'm not sure, that is why I asked for photos of the plumbing,
Why do you need constant pumping for combined flow?
I'm guessing 600 and 300 series might be different

combined flow uses the flow from the linkage pump via the tip pipe and you have to use constant pumping to use the tip pipe
edit or at least high pressure

600 and 300 series had the mk 3a selector valve which had an extra link and lever to put the linkage pump into constant pumping when you pulled up the combined flow lever. 500 series used the earlier selector valve and constant pumping had to be selected seperately. but we do still need to know if the spools are piped from the linkage pump, auxilliary pump or both

Thanks for explaining, makes a lot more sense now

Their was an option of bigger lift rams to lift 1.5 tons on pallet forks for the 80 we used them all the time from new the welding and plating the loader needed during its lifespan proved it wasnt built for that.

As requested a pic of pllumbing to spool valves at rear .i have it locked in ext 1 and quad lever on constant pumping . I do seem to have more lift capacity this way but not sure it will lift a ton?also a pic of bucket on from which is 6ft hence brackets are on back , maybe this will unbalace teactor on decrease lift capacity ?
