My ipad has a SIM card for data and it works in all our other tractors through the radio, doesn’t work through the usb either, won’t even charge the iPad through usb 🤦🏻‍♂️ do however like the USB ports on the side console saves carrying one those shitty fag lighter plugs with you that come out when you hit a bump and always interfere with the radio
Very odd. I would think that the USB on the side console is only for charging and you may need to press the home button on the iPad before it starts charging. Some non-genuine Apple USB lightening to USB-A leads are like that. It might work like that or it might not.
If there is an USB socket on the front of the head unit, you would think that it would both charge the iPad and work for the speakers.
Maybe they hadn't tested it with an iPad. They can't think of absolutely everything and will eventually fine tune these little issue at the factory, no doubt. If they listen, which is not guaranteed.

It probably does charge the pad, just so slowly that the pad doesn't show that it's charging (output power is low). I had the same happen to me when i was in army. I forgot my Acer tablets charger (proprietary Micro Usb which had a "tumor", so a normal micro usb would also fit) back in home, plugged in my phones Micro usb and nothing happened. Left it charging over night and the tablet was almost on full charge.

One of these turned up next door today , contractor [from 40 miles away]spreading chicken litter .
Blimey its a strange looking thing and can see the look of the old 2640 era about it . The gap between cab and bonnet also looks odd but plenty of glass in cab so visibility is superb !
Driver of tractor likes it a lot but only had it a month . Replaced a 260 hp MF 77 series

My 8S 245 is now parked up with software issues it keeps going into limp home mode and refuses to go above 5 KPH, two visits from technicians and still no fix or any idea when. This tractor is starting to look like when i bought a 7620 and we all now how bad they were. When its going its the place to be so many good things about it but all meaningless if broken down

We’ve had quite a few software issues/ niggles too but nothing quite that dramatic and most the time turn the engine off and isolate the battery and turn back on again and they go away 😬 kinda feels like they never really tested them in real world contracting conditions

what didnt go wrong with the 7620?
add blue, cab suspension, exhaust sensors, sensors all over the place sending the tractor into derate mode. I keep it for 1 year then switched to John Deere and 4 tractors later not a single breakdown from Deere, not cheap to buy but bloody good

See I find that odd, we’ve got a 7720 had a couple of 76 series but the 7720 is a bloody good tractor.
