Probably meant the capability differences. Deutz isn't a bad engine, Sisu is just better.the 700 fendt have very few engine problems most are on a 828
700 series have had oil consumption issues factthe 700 fendt have very few engine problems most are on a 828
Only second hand info...but i was chatting to a chap from a large contractor firm whilst working on a job out of my normal area, and he said they were having plenty of engine problems on 700 series Fendts. One of the fleet was on its third engine by 4000 hours for example and others were troublesome.the 700 fendt have very few engine problems most are on a 828
They probably think it's a sign of weakness if they don't buy a FendtOnly second hand info...but i was chatting to a chap from a large contractor firm whilst working on a job out of my normal area, and he said they were having plenty of engine problems on 700 series Fendts. They kept buying multiples of them though.

They always have done. They used ZF components back in the day, as did many others. They were one of the first with electronic linkage control and it uses the same components exactly as my Same, made by Bosch.Probably still dwelling on what fendts used too be... fendts used too be worth more because they’d run too 20,000 relatively trouble free... now they break just the same as any other tractor
know of one out & about 265 hp cost 115k not sure on spec or any thing, we had a price for one & it was more money than a fendt the same size
In fairness a discounted price for a completely new model range will always be higher than for an existing newer version of an old tractor rangeNo. That was the “discounted” price.... but considering this is considerably more than double what I paid 5 years ago for a demo 7726 it “extinguished my desire to swop” extremely quickly
No. That what you will pay. That list price?
Sooner have a Valtra myself. At least with that you can have a CVT AND the Sisu engine.
Makes you wonder why they don't put the Sisu in the smaller Fendts actually.
if yours has not got daft hours it will nearly be worth what you paNo. That was the “discounted” price.... but considering this is considerably more than double what I paid 5 years ago for a demo 7726 it “extinguished my desire to swop” extremely quickly
did well if you got a 7726 for 65k five years ago. You will get more than that for it now if it’s not high hours.No. That was the “discounted” price.... but considering this is considerably more than double what I paid 5 years ago for a demo 7726 it “extinguished my desire to swop” extremely quickly
