MF and Valtra new 400-500hp

I don't know if there is a similar thread, i can't found it.

At Agritechnica 2015 Agco had announced a new conventional tractor range between 400 and 500 hp.

after several months we have more information about this new range??

It's clear that it won't be a clone of the Fendt 1000 even if in this other article they talks about a common platform:

cvt I assume ?

I would imagine it would probably be sisu powered
Sure it will be a Cvt, similar to the 1000 vario one.

What about the engine? Man or Sisu?
I would imagine it would probably be a sisu engine, maybe the 7 cylinder. If they use the MAN engine they may as well just rebadge the fendt 1000 series. Early reports say they are going to rebadge the fendt 1000 series as challengers for the USA market

Yes, but i think that the 9,8 l Sisu is small compared to the 12,4 l Man of the Fendt.

According to the second document i've posted before, there will be similar solutions under the bonnets and differences on the rest of the components in the future Agco ranges.

I don't think it will be a Fendt 1000 with different colours like the Challenger, but i suppose it would be a similar machine with different features on the drive line.
What do you think about?

The 7 cylinder should be good for around 450 to just under 500 hp max, maybe that's as far as they will go on the valtra and MF. And the Fendt 1000 series will be the biggest premium product in the agco stable for conventional tractors. I just cant see an MF or especially a valtra powered by anything other than sisu. Sisu do have the motor, but I don't think I`ll see the day agco drop a v12 in conventional tractor.

I think that v12 is an engine for articulated and tracked tractor, not good for a conventional.

If you have heard that they are going to rebadge the fendt 1000 series, i think that it could be truthful that they will be similar product but not the same.
In the profi document they talks about stage 5 engine too.

When it will be launched? Sima?

I think it will be at least twelve months before we see any serious info and launch dates on these tractors

In the document of agritechnica press conference Agco talks about new investment on engines.

So, even if is difficult, could we imagine a new Agco Power engine platform?
