Mf Combines

what forward speed are most of you doing in spring barley? were doing about 2.7mph

5.9 kph, but its a poor crop

I had a similar problem on my 27 would lift head ok when oil was cold but got worst when got warmer check your linkage for wear under the cab adjusted mine and worked grand ever since if u are using the foot pedals to work the head make sure the linkage in below isn't slightly bent had that in the past and wont work the valve far enough

Most of your trouble leads back to the Muppet who fitted that valve block.
Can't blame the combine for that can you?

.......and that’s not just because the combines being a pain. I do like the combine, especially the powerflow header.

We already work together a fair bit, share some other bits n pieces.
Im sure it'll work ok.

We've a very good spread of crops, and actually geographically and soil types too, which will also mean a good spread for harvest.

Might be worth checking oil isn't getting past the seals in the lift rams themselves. Tends to be more obvious when the oil is hot and thinner.

Depends if it's just speed for the sake of it and chucking loads out the back

I would hope it was set up right, wouldn't be good for a sale if there's a thick row of green in a couple of weeks

The NH will cut more over the week I expect.
