Do what everyone else does. List them on eBay for about £5k stating how incredibly rare they are then when you've still got them in 2 years time you can accept £20

Can remember PV Dobson selling them in the seventies at a pound a pair, probably bought thousands of MF when they brought out the 500 series! My brother in law still uses a pair with his chainsaw.

back in early seventys worked on an estate that had 34 new masseys every 12 months, all came with free pair of ear muffs. better than going deaf

With this bloody tinitus I have nowadays I must admit to wishing I had used them a lot more back in the day. Hot summer days sweating your cob off and wearing glasses all the time weren't that condusive to wearing them all the time.

We got a pair given when we bought our 1100. Awful things, you felt as if you had a wasp buzzing in your brain with them on. Although according to our MF rep a pair did actually cure one of their demonstrators of an acute hearing problem. While wearing a pair they acted like a couple of little sink plungers and drew all the wax out of his ears!
