well thats an idea !!but you still wont have a racing machine, believe me
250 has really good brakes, arguably a longer lasting cab than a 550 and of course 2 doors , passenger seat pretty much blocks left hand door250 backend is quite heavy, would a 550 not suit?
We liked our 250 but backend was more like the 265 we have now. Would have stayed but just needed sormyjong with more grunt for ploughing, 250 was in low 4th but 265 can plough in high 1st comfortably250 has really good brakes, arguably a longer lasting cab than a 550 and of course 2 doors , passenger seat pretty much blocks left hand door
Bottom line is I will buy whatever i think is a good deal at the time
I do agree a 265 would be far better than a 250 but I think that would put my trailer a little over weightWe liked our 250 but backend was more like the 265 we have now. There was a 382 advertised in FW this week that would be a different tractor not many about I didn't even know there was such a thing!

That'll be a realativly light tractor for its hp then?382 wasn't retailed in the UK.
It's a 362 chassis with a 390 engine.

When touring banner lane I was very shocked at the amount of tractors I had never seen, or even heard of before382 wasn't retailed in the UK.
