Does anyone have a number and name for me to speak to at MF about a machine which needs a repair out of warranty? Struggling to actually communicate with anyone.

Its your dealer you need to contact as your contract is with him, and like most things these day if its out of warranty sorry to say its out of warranty and also depends on the dealer service history and what the failure is. I have been there and bought the T-shirt.

The machine was bought second hand and has been serviced by a main dealer. We haven’t had it serviced as it hadn’t hit the interval until now and the issue has appeared. We hadn’t used our local MF dealer and they are not being particularly helpful which I can understand but think it’s poor show from MF and we can’t even get someone to discuss it with.

Turn up at 8 in the morning at the dealers, it,s the best way face to face, you might get some sense out of someone.

Doubt it. It’s now really anything to do with our local dealer. I feel the actual issue lies with the original dealer who had done the servicing and the quality of that servicing. Hence why I would like to discuss with MF direct.

William Judge is the top MF man in the UK if you phone the AGCO Head office at Abbey Park, Stoneleigh and get through to him , I would imagine he would get MF service to look into it as he is very on it ,

To give an update with a cooler head. I have eventually managed to have a conversation with an MF rep this afternoon to discuss things in detail and raise my issues directly with them. I have also had another conversation with my local MF dealer (AM Phillips) who are happy to assist as they can. Let’s see what next week brings.
