Sorry, it's the pedant in me but surely a professional outfit proof reads their copy:
"Denis Sutton and crew based in Wexford are set to launch the Ursus brand once again to Ireland. Ursus tractors are a Polish producer and your [you] can find there [their]machinery in the majority of European countries as well as in Australia, Venezuala, Chile, Brazil, USA, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Morocco. In general, the factory was exporting its products to over 60 countries and they have been available in Ireland since the 60’s. The new range will include various horsepower and transmission options and all will be backed up by a strong aftersales service. Trading as Ursus Tractors and machinery look out as Densi [Denis]and the team put the brand back on the map."
I've no idea where it went after selling it to the NH dealer in p/x for a skid steer loader. I would like to hope it went to a good home. It was fitted with an MF80 loader when it went from here. You talk about your (not you're for @JP1) Ursus in the past tense, @Cowabunga did it find love with another?
Probably made by Uzel, but many models were made in both Turkey and Coventry. I know of at least two cabbed 3 cylinder turbo tractors in this area, one of which had a rod through the block a few years ago. I think that the other one may still be on the original owner's farm, although I haven't seen it in many years. I can't honestly remember whether these are 200 or 300 series tractors, but they are 3 cylinder turbo from the factory.
I suppose the MF 135 might have been better with bigger back wheels; mine has 13.6 radials which do make it a little better; but would still prefer 32" rims. But for all the ifs and buts it has to be the best ever tractor in its class. That low end torque and characteristic Perkins 'knock' when pulling is unbeatable in any tractor of its size. A good 135 or 148 Multi Power, especially with power steering and a flexi cab, has to be one of the best and most fuel efficient tractors ever made.
I was close to buying a 420 a year ago. It had a cab, too. Some of these Uzel built tractors were officially imported into the UK for a short period before they went bust. I think they were available without and with a cab. I remember the cab models didn't have any access to top up the transmission oil.
Anyone seen one or got one?

I didn't like the seller's attitude, though.
Me too, although not his. Lovely little tractors.A future classic and show curiosity I think. Not many about. I'd love a good condition one.

Bless.David Chappel Competitively ploughs with one, 4WD, no cab, pulls a KV 2 Furrow Plough, he's named it "Blossom"
Only the 135QD was sold in the UK around that time. The 500 series had long displaced the 100 series and the 135QD was introduced after a gap where only the 500 series were sold. This was before the 200 series became available in the UK, taking over from export model late 100 series. The 500 series were only produced for about six or seven years before being replaced by the 200 and 600 series.
Your thinking of the MF 360 3 cylinder turbo. My uncle bought a G reg last week!Probably made by Uzel, but many models were made in both Turkey and Coventry. I certainly know the whereabouts of an immaculate MF245. Yes a 245, not a 240.
