No V5, it has a number plate but they didnt ever register it, dealer just put it on to deliver it apparently. If it came with a V5c document then it might give his name and address as the former keeper.
It looks like it’s been well kept over it’s 47 harvests
£3000 for the combine, and what was the price of wheat / barley in 1972? Probably £80 / ton? I would think that a similar sized combine today would be at least £60,000, and wheat at £125, what other industry would poke up with it?I bought her in 2017, so third harvest with me. She was new in 1972 bought by the previous owner and I believe used every harvest with them. The most they did was something like 80 acres, but usually 40 from memory.
When I picked her up, the sellers father (the original buyer) came out to see her go, he gave me the original operators manual, parts book and all the supplements for it they had been sent. The most interesting part is inside the cover of the manual, where they had noted the original purchase price.... View attachment 829389
