also the big connector on the auto box at the end pin 3 is c red pin 4 is d orange check the wiring . also you say you have tried a new dyna switch is it one off a 3000 series ?
Thanks. We have just taken her for a spin. The four wheel drive does not disengage when going flat out when it is pushed on. We disconnected all plugs going into the LED display behind the dash and with no lights we still had A and B but no C and D. Is it possible one of the solenoids, the top one, is not working even when power is getting to them?? Not sure if the dyna switch is a 3000 one as its longer and less robust than the original and has five wires rather than the four on the original and the colours don't match.
it is possible the solanoid is stuck but i would have thought the lights would change. with the lever you cant get original lever thats why i asked. i do have new ones but they have different colours for wiring but 4 wires not 5
you should have on the solanoids for A power to the top nothing to the bottom B power to both C nothing at the top but power at bottom D no power at both check that
Thanks again for the pointer. We tested power sequence to the solenoids and found that at B both solenoids powered up but remained powered when cycling through C and D. Hence why we are only getting A and B. That must then surely point to a fault in the black box????
Finally found the dynashift voltage info and schematic for the autotronic. Sounds like you’re sorted but might be helpful to someone in future
(ignore my scribbles - but those 8.5 low voltage outputs was my ecu issue, david king fixed it)
**note this is autotronic2, I didn’t know there were different ones
