Ok so i have a MF35 4 cylinder diesel. It was burning oil at a rate of about 10 litres a week (really bad) it was down on power and we decided to do a engine rebuild. So fitted everything new. Tested the tractor and it started leaking oil from the exhaust. Continued to give it some hard work but the tractor still keeps burning the oil. Its literally dripping out the exhaust elbow. Has anyone else heard of this? if so what's the fix?
Its had new pistons, liners and even done valves and guides?
any ideas?
