Yes,that's for the engine oil pressure light.
Not sure if you can see or get at the temp gauge sender easily as it's sort of below and behind the air con comp on the head. I have the compressor off mine at the minute and the sender is easily accessed!

Took the side panel off to take a look but as you say it’s pretty tight in there and can’t really see much. Tractor has a loader on top to make it all the easier!

Just don't overheat the engine for the same of checking out the temp gauge / wire.
Or the whole lot will have to come off ............

At the minute you just don't know where you stand if working the engine hard.

Thankfully being a loader tractor this one rarely does any fieldwork at all. I'll get the mobile man in a van to drop in shortly and do some other jobs so will ask him to take a look.....

If you had an airline to dust down around the old sensor, if not a rag on a screwdriver before you screw it out fully.
Be quick, as a drop of coolant will want to break free. Or are you going to drain the system down below the level, might be worth it as the smell of that antifreeze if it gets on the clothes .............

Will have to drain the whole system down. When looking for the sensor I noticed that the hose from the water pump has white gunk all over it and the surrounding area so decided to replace that hose too. May as well do a proper job while I'm at it.....that doubled the spend with another £8!

Thank you all for the help and advice - saved me a fortune!

Going for the full rebuild, then so .............
Wee drop of sealant on the threads of the sensor, probably wont need it, but if you have a drop, or plumbers thread tape.
