I recalibrated my 6480 and it has got a lot smoother in forward but very sharp and jumpy when engaging reverse. Should i recalibrate it again or just let it bed in over time.
Hi there
I know this tread was a long time ago but I give it a try. My 6475 has just started being jumpy when I put shuttle in reverse. I think it’s just when hot. It’s fine in forward shuttle. Will a calibration do the trick

Hi every body.
This a very interesting post for me. I've a 1999 6280. Maybe you can help me with a trouble with the filter. Last week, a light in the dashboard, showed filter blockage. Once chanched the filter, eveything went right when cold, but once running half an hour, the same light again. I've tried to release sensor harness and light goes off,. What could be happening?
Hydraulics work absolutely normal.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but does anyone know how to calibrate the dynashift on a 6480 dyna6, ours seems to have a time lag when using it.....very frustrating when pulling out at junctions etc. Thanks.
Its adjustable in the dash settings and not calibrated . Only fws rev packs are calibrated

Hi all, I know this is an old thread, but I've a mf5445 tier 2 2006, with speedshift, extremely harsh on the clutch engagement, farmer says he has never had it calibrated since warranty ran out, but cant get it to calibrate the power shuttle, the hi and low button wasnt working but sorted that now, but how do you know its upto the right temp etc, spoke to chandlers the local dealer and the sequence they said to do I cant get anything to happen, I've tried the dyna 4 sequence and that bring the forward and reverse lights on flashing together, if anyone knows the sequence It would be much appreciated

They need to be warm like over 40 deg in 6400 series you press 2 buttons to reveal teams temp on screen. Go and do some work so it’s warm then try, it’s suppressing how long they take to get hot enough

Does it have dot matrix menu? As farmer Joe says the transmission takes longer than you think to reach 40. When we had our 6485 I'd have to drive around the block for 20-30 minutes.

We had a lot of problems with the clutch engagement on it, probably calibrated every 6 months at least but would slowly get worse. One of reasons it went down road after 2 years

Same procedure only transmission temp is read via the dynashift lights, basically you need to get them all on prior to calibration
Planning to recalibrate my 5445 tomorrow. Is it all the lights on for the correct temperature or 3 ?

Seem to remember pressure washing back end once to bring the temp down [emoji848]

I know the 6400's can be to hot !
