That's a lot. We bought an 08 one last season and only do about 350 acres.only 500.
I've got no barley but I'll keep you posted once I hit the wheat. That's a lot. We bought an 08 one last season and only do about 350 acres.
Was a big jump going from having an 865 for 32 years!! For starters sitting in the centre of the combine rather than to the side seemed strange at first!!
This season struggling a bit with losses over the walkers in barley. Be interesting to know how you get on. Still learning though!!
The wires for mine sit next to the seat in the cab. It's taking a bit of getting used to the hydro lever, the old one was a bowden cable with lots of play, this one is much more positive.OK thanks. We'll learn together.
We put a new concave in as found old one had got bent. It had every other wire out towards the rear, but when fitted new Massey concave we left them in as fitter said they don't bother taking them out any more?
4 remote ones under it and auger u joint through hatch ?Just the swivel bit, nipples on it and remote ones under it.
There should be 4 nipples on the ring round the auger, plus the ones under it. Pump till you see plenty coming out. And first time putting it out after the winter do it little by little, in and out to make sure it's going to move. My 36 was the same setup exactly, but it was fine, this one has had the ram mount shear off the tube and been repaired. Common fault.4 remote ones under it and auger u joint through hatch ?
That was are old fitter who did that , ours has been done , he said that combine should have stayed around here !The wires for mine sit next to the seat in the cab. It's taking a bit of getting used to the hydro lever, the old one was a bowden cable with lots of play, this one is much more positive.
It seems to have plenty of go cutting the rape.
Make sure you grease the unloading auger LOTS, every day. They shear off if you don't.
It had a hell of a lot spent on it before it came here. Plus a little more once it got here. That was are old fitter who did that , ours has been done , he said that combine should have stayed around here !
That's because it's a hill siderThe only thing I'd grumble about is the steering lock is rubbish.
Is it different on a flatland then? Back axle doesn't alter at all, it's only up front. That's because it's a hill sider
Don't think there is any adjustment but I'll have a closer look. Can you a just the stops? Lean it over put full lock on and see how much clearance there is? I ajusted the lock on my green version and it transformed it from a numb peace of to a awesome machine

Grabbed a couple of pics when I got out this afternoon.
Giving a good haircut has it pegged about 4 kmh, nip the pods off and double it.
Been going well. Lost a knife section, and pleased to find a standard one fits, I've got loads of them, just need some more little bolts.
No complaints so far.
Keep your eye on the final drives , that model shares the same final drives as the 7272 , a mate has one of these and the drives are not as well built as the bigger models and he has had a bit of troubleHas it got a 22 ft pf? P&B have a rae auger to fit one. We have just bought a 7256RS for this year, should be a step up from the 34.
