Mf7278 cerea users

Now that the barley volunteers are coming through, I've noticed that I've left a few green stripes with my new Centora..
I had the drum speed at 1,100 rpm, concave at no.3, RS at closest gap (35mm), curtain as recommended and travelling at 4.3 kph.
Am fairly sure they are walker losses as chaff spinner was on.
I've got to be doing something wrong, but I can't quite put my finger on it.. Any ideas?

I know nothing about MF combines but 4.3 kph seems slow,concave under loaded?

I didn't think at 4.3 kph I was pushing on too hard either. It was a 2.5 ton/ac crop of winter barley.
Straw was a bit damp though. Am always a bit reluctant to push on too much when in other people's fields!

What's anyone's thoughts on a 7274 Al cerea

Wanting a 5 walker ideally a later 36 but these seems well priced and doesn't look to have done too much work, but I haven't been to look or anything yet.

Had a 36 rs Al go up in smoke this year.

Wanting a 5 walker ideally a later 36 but these seems well priced and doesn't look to have done too much work, but I haven't been to look or anything yet.

Had a 36 rs Al go up in smoke this year.

Buy a Axail Flow 2388 instead, and use the time your not waiting for a mechanic, or repairing the Fergie, to enjoy life

If you know how to maintain and keep on top of the 36RS it should be a no-brainier for you. It will be a nicer drive than the 36 as we went from flat land 36 to auto level 7256. Knew the soft bits from 36 and combine has been fine although had to put a lot of things right when it first came.
There will be a que of people telling you it’s a crap combine but they all break and cost money to service. It’s knowing what bits to service and replace that the green and yellow brigade are good at but some of the service costs for that are eye watering.

Correct.
It went.
Now got a new Holland, which hasn't been without its issues.
Some of which are yet to be sorted to our satisfaction.
On the whole a better combine.

What were the problems the swappers had?

I can't really comment on my 36 it was my first season with it, about 40 odd acres in, fully blown off and fuelled up, went up on the second headland.

(Was an oil pipe splitting we reckon as it did not smoulder it just engulfed in flames)

Tell me, those who know which flex header is suitable for combine MF 7278 Cerea? It is very necessary for collecting soybeans.
