MF8240/MT565 Power shuttle install problems - Dynashift

Hoping someone can chime in and point what I may be doing wrong.
We removed the power shuttle and dyna4 for overhaul. Had a leak at the power shuttle input shaft from a failed pilot bearing and decided to rebuild everything while we are there.
Starting the 3rd split now for the same power shuttle issue. This problem was introduced at some point during the power shift overhaul. With Range lever in 1-4 and power shuttle in neutral, the tractor creeps forward. It has enough creep that it will drive over the wheel chocks.
In order to get the tractor into a range while running, I have to put the ps in reverse, let clutch out slightly to stop the trans from rotating and it will drop into a range. All pressure tests checked out perfect and it appears to be a mechanical problem in the shuttle.
I am questioning how the power shuttle is being installed onto the dyn4. The first time it was removed, it fell off into our hands. Now when reinstalling it takes about 2 hrs of wiggling and light tapping to get the PS to align and mesh with the pto and dyna shafts. The book does not say there is an alignment procedure for the install.

Thoughts?
