how come I just have to see an image of mr gove who ive never met nor had any correspondence or been anywhere in his company yet get the feeling that i couldnt trust the man, makes me wonder if his new best friend will end up thinking the same, mother always said always go with your instincts and shes never let me down yet even though she left this mortal coil nearly 50 years ago

I watch as much Parliamentary stuff as I can and it seems to me that Mr Gove tries to placate whomever he is talking to. I honestly believe he is a snake in the grass and would not trust him as far as I can spit which is about two feet in front of my wellies at a push. He is an environmentalist at heart ( which is no bad thing ) but teaming up with an extreme wildlife campaigner is a huge mistake. No matter which one persons leanings are, to take on extreme views means blocking out the views of the middle which tend to be far more moderate and thought through from all sides. Truth is with environmental campaigners, they tend to have their own agenda which usually comes at the detriment of another species, whether that be Elephants, Sheep or Humans.

My thoughts as well. I always think that the word 'odious' was just hanging around waiting for Gove to turn up.

Ask the teaching profession what they thought of him as Education Secretary! I wouldn’t trust him 1mm

How do most folk get to view farms.......from a carbon dioxide producing vehicle.

Always amazes me the amount of people who drive out into the countryside to go for a walk........and then tut,tut at farmers.

Then tie their picnic wrappers neatly in a carrier bag then lob out window.

Photosynthesis ,some one will know how much carbon dioxide is taken from the atmosphere by a cultivated / cropped field and thus how much oxygen is given back i.e if a crop of wheat yields 8t/ha how much co2 is taken up or say a crop of silage

Totally agree except the environmentalist at heart.I think he has jumped on this bandwagon to get appeal from a broader spectrum of the electorate. This man will do anything to gain promotion and power, his ego is massive and he is a true narcissist with a touch of megalomania chucked in.He is symptomatic of modern politicians.
