Michelin or Trelleborg?

Which would you choose? On a new tractor. Any user experiences welcome. Could have Mitas again but happy to pay the extra. Not interested in Firestone. BKT not an option.

Have driven tractors with both on 650/540 sizes. I've never felt too safe on Michelins on banks, whether they've been pumped up too hard but they've always felt very 'floaty' compared to a set of even well worn Trelleborgs, feel they keep their shape better whereas the Michelins seem to start to round.

The Trelleborgs seem to just grip and grip as well. Maybe I've answered my own question but heard about splitting sidewalls on Trelleborgs and that Michelins service is better....

Looking at 600/65/R38 and 480/65/R28

Thanks all!

Trelleborg tm700 on our valtra from new and I will stick red hot needles in my eyes before I will have another set. No grip on grassland at all especially as they wear and the bars get wider. Completely bald fronts after 3000 hrs and backs about 10%. Friend had some on a New Holland and had the same problem. He traded his in and specced the new one with bkt and says they are worth double in wear and grip.

I replaced pirellis with trelleborgs at 2500hrs,now at just over 3000hrs and the tread on the fronts are almost at 50%
Not happy at all!!!
-is it worth contacting trelleborg or is it not worth the effort?

Driver called in from job to say he had a puncture that he couldn't plug so we hauled a new pair out and done a swap couple weeks ago.. 5600 hrs mainly on a triaxle slurry tank and many road miles

Could there be any difference in ranges of tyre? We have TM900 trelleborgs that have done over 3000 hours and only just starting to show signs of wear. This is on a tractor which does a reasonable amount of road work each year with an 18000 litre tanker.
It's predecessor was on michelins which we've always had but we changed the tractor at 2800 hours because the tyres were almost gone.
Michelin rep did say that tyres were not as hard wearing since they changed to non carcinogenic rubber...

I have no idea about complaining but I didn't like them new and I hate them now. I wonder about vredestein or bkt. 50k on road so maybe vredestein a better choice? 580/70 38

I have that size on my NH. Happy enough with the wear, they are a bit lumpy when it's been sat for a few days. The MF we had on demo was on the same size Michelin. It was undrivable on the road as the tyre noise was horrendous. If money is available I would be more interested in VF tyres.

I got Michelin’s on the valtra 254 and the front tyres are wearing a lot quicker than I’d like , there too soft , never get them again on a tractor
