Did this online, had email yesterday as reminder saying you can check progress so logged in, status says 'submitted - awaiting evidence' but when I've rechecked the form the rotational options parcel numbers boxes aren't filled in, I thought I'd done this but now doubting myself, is it just how the system works

Sent in a couple of fencing and hedging claims this spring. They both sat saying awaiting evidence for over a month until ( I assume) a human started checking them. If you aren't sure they have gone in correctly give them a call to check

If you claim for rotational options as part of your 2021 revenue claim using the Rural Payments service, the claim summary does not currently contain the land parcel reference numbers in the rotational options section (Section 3). We apologise for this.

Only the claim statement is affected.
The land parcel reference numbers or areas that you add and ‘save’ in the ‘Rotational Options to be claimed’ screen are not affected. When you save this information it will stay in the Rural Payments service and in the claim you submit or have submitted.

The claim summary shows the ‘Agreement Area’ claimed for each land parcel. This confirms you have added that area to a land parcel in your claim.

What we are doing
We’re updating the claim summary so it contains the land parcel reference numbers in the rotational options section. The claim summary will be updated in the Rural Payments service on 20 July.

What you can do
After 20 July you’ll be able to generate and download the claim summary again. It will contain the land parcel reference numbers for rotational options that you’ve added to your claim.

Until the claim summary is updated on 20 July, if you want to keep a record of which land parcels you’ve added the rotational options information for, we suggest that:

  • Before you submit your claim – take screenshots of the rotational options screen after you’ve added and ‘saved’ the relevant information. You can then save or print the screenshots. However, please do not send these to us to support your online claim – the land parcel reference numbers will appear in the claim you submit to us.
  • If you’ve already submitted your claim – print the claim summary and write the land parcel reference numbers on it alongside the relevant agreement areas. However, please do not send this to us to support your online claim – the land parcel reference numbers will appear in the claim you have submitted to us.
Or you can wait until the claim summary is updated in the Rural Payments service and generate and download it again after 20 July.

Hope this helps everyone,

Went to do one of ours today and some of the parcels were missing from the rotational list so their area couldn’t be allocated. I have sent a message allocating the parcel numbers to the area of AB9.
Has anyone else had this happen?

I've got the same problem this year, I want to allocate AB6 and AB9 to their new parcels but the only parcels I can choose from are parcels that had rotational options last year.

Use section 6 to explain. This is common and a weakness of the claim form. Whoever wrote the claim form and embedded spreadsheet hadn't thought it through!

Thank you, exactly as the RPA hotline said this morning, the lady gave the answer halfway through my question, so clearly a common question.

Should I click 'No rotational options are not confirmed', and rely on the box on section 6 to confirm?

I clicked ‘no rotational are not confirmed’ then completed box 6 with the land details. And submitted. i see teslaocoils sends an email, i presume in addition to box 6. My take is that any amendments should be recorded in box 6. Call rpa tomorrow, as. 16th is closung date this year.
