i emailed them last week as i am feed up, they said before end of march
land agent phoned me on monday to talk about the bps, they are claiming is not valid, but is. he told me i would hear by end of feb about stewardship.

so only one person on here has heard?
Well in response to that, yes, I was heard, they sent me the offer, we signed it and returned it but we have had absolutely no further correspondence so I still have no real idea as to whether we are now up and running or if we should we waiting for receipt of confirmation, I'm very nervous to start any capital work still, that is for sure. Best of luck with it.

I submitted an application in September.
I was told I needed signatures from all the Partners, which wasn't originally asked for in the application, in December.
I have been asked for some further evidence, photos of bits and bob's etc last week.
Think they must be close, but it's not a great start, and very late considering the schemes been under subscribed.

Same old same old....

AFAIK you did have to put signatures of all partners in the original application. We certainly did.

My agent phoned today to say she'd had a letter from NE, asking for more photos of ponds we are buffering and locations of gates within a boundary we are fencing.
they also asked for evidence of things we haven't done yet, because we aren't signed up to the scheme .
Non of my agents clients have heard a thing. we had a long conversation where we both agreed it was fast approaching the time when we tell them to stick it.
I'm not confident that the money will be there in future years, and am nervous of spending on expensive seed mixtures and £11ks worth of fencing , if they run out of money.

They have come back to us asking for some extra info and pictures
They've done the same with us. I think Jo was unindated with letters asking for more information for a lot of her clients last week.
For a number of different reasons, I've asked her to tell them that we are withdrawing our application..

How can they still be asking for stuff. They did this for us back in November.
because they have mucked it all up going by satellite maps rather than whats on the ground. I have fields split by cow tracks and they have missed one half off. They have put made new fields out of temp paddocks, the list goes on and on, it will take hours and another massive pile of paper printed on the tops of one side of A3 paper. I'm so glad i just went for the organic payments!

Are those problems the RPA's fault rather than NE?

It's nothing to much they wanted from us, a pic of an existing pond and some gateway locations

I received a letter today dated 17/02/2016 asking for missing evidence

AB1; Photographs of Established Mixture. What mixture?
AB8; Photographs of the margin or plot. What margin or plot?
AB9; Photographs of the blocks or strips. What blocks and strips?

What indeed are they talking about when none of the above has been started and won’t be until we have a agreement with them?

They require these photos in 10 working days when it has taken 5 days for their letter to get to me!
They also say:

Please return your application form and or the missing information requested by Natural England with 10 working days of receipt of this letter (how do they know when I got it?). If your application is not received by this date the options involved cannot be considered for Countryside Stewardship.

Do these people know the difference between their arse and the elbows?
Is this just another delaying tactic which is costing us a great deal of money?

Our agent assured us that they have absolutely everything they need.

It a bloody disgrace!

What on earth is going on here?! Obviously these options cannot exist. I hope we don't have to go out and take photos of each option location. That would take me ages.

If everyone told them to stick it, they might have a rethink of the whole thing. Whoever devised theses schemes, did so to keep themselves in jobs, not to benefit wildlife.
