I saw this as a quote from George Eustace at OFC, anyone know what the ins and outs are?
I have two mid tier agreements in their second and third years and about to apply for another.
Is the increase in annual payment options or capital payments or both ?
if true will sweeten the pill quite considerably.

Not seen any details but a consultant told me the other day they were looking at it to make their preferred options more inviting and to allow for inflation on other things. Are the details even published or is this just a "headline grabbing" statement?

they should have said up to 30% increase

my stewardship scheme is 3.5 % higher in 2022 than 2021
at 2023 rates for a new scheme based on the same mix of options it would be a 4.5% reduction
but the reapplication will use less of the reducedprice options and more of the higher priced options

Freudian slip by Eustace or a continuation of his EU referendum statements and promises. Or he simply had not grasped from his briefing that is was just a few options increasing upto 30%. Only Georgey will know??

Organic rotational up quite a bit, we are 80% rotational as like different cropping options, rubbish for permanent pasture organic farms though.
I maybe incorrect but think it's for new agreements starting this year.
I was in two minds whether to accept the CSS mirror agreement for 1st January given milk price atm. But took the view I could withdraw in 2022 with no penalty as wouldn't get paid until December anyway.
