what mig welder would anyone recommend I used to have a 180 amp oil-cooled stick welder I found quite adequate I have an air-cooled one now but it soon shuts down when welding thick stuff

R-Tech welding have a great selection and carry all spare parts, great to deal with and reasonably priced. I use one of their Tig's a Mig and also have one of their plasma cutters, not had an issue with any of them.
