I have a 1973 Ford 5000 been in the family since and still in use though currently having to overall steering spindles, my intention is to overall and renovate it completely this winter, proberly into next year.
It was fitted with a MIL Marquis loader at the time of purchase I have the tine loader however the bucket was stolen some time ago and I am trying to locate another genuine one in preference to getting one made.
If someone out there has one I would be interested, should this info be needed the bucket width is 43” with side mounted linkage.

Any Mil bucket will fit - you may need to weld on a couple of 'U' brackets for the 'crowd' rams if its an older trip loader bucket - i.e. off a Mil Master

They come up on ebay not infrequently - in fact heres what you a looking for

err i believe i have one of them somewhere??? complete loader that is with bucket. might be a lot rougher than when i last looked at it!

Sorry to crash in on the thread - but i'm looking for a pair of long mil marquis retainer plates that stop the loader bouncing up at the front off the brackets when its attached. The retainer plates were slightly different for each mil marquis depending on what tractor brackets it was fitted to.

It didnt come off a Leyland tractor by any chance?

If you ever go into sugar beet growing, we've got a beet basket for a MIL Marquis

You can also convert your loader with a Euro8 headstock £240 - then you have your choice of buckets
Thank you very much although I am aware of this conversion, it is that I want to keep to the original spec if I enter it for showing in the future it might not be received well, however I am considering the conversion when working to preserve any original bucket I may manage to obtain
