Milk buyer / farm assurance

Had a FA visit 3 weeks ago. ( With no non compliances ) Today the milk buyer rep turns up with clip board.. Starts asking the same questions as FA.
Hang on we say, FA have all this info, Thought (as you hired them) they shared it with you.
All we get from FA is the non compliance info, she says. Don`t give us anything else, It`s data protection !!!!

Now this stuff really annoys me. Seems everyone is running their little empire & the thought of sharing info to save staff time & extra cars on the road seems beyond them.
Injection of common sense & some heads knocking together needed IMO

Tell your buyer you are more than happy for them to inspect OR red tractor but not both

If they've had no non-cons from you, surely they don't need to inspect.

Bit like the Police turning up saying no one's reported you committing a crime, so they thought they'd check you out!

They say because FA don`t share info on the farms, they have to get it themselves so they have the answers when milk buyers question them on their milk pool. - A/B Use, bull calves, etc etc

What is the fudging point of farm assurance if some clipboard jockey turns up 3 weeks later ffs!
