1.3p all on solids. 36.26p for MarchHow much you up by then?
1.3 on a standard litre? So on your solids nearer 1.6?.1.3p all on solids. 36.26p for March
1.52 or 17% higher than the standard price.1.3 on a standard litre? So on your solids nearer 1.6?.
Yep, but electric is 1p more, fert 2p more and feed 1p more. So 3p left with everything else going up.1.52 or 17% higher than the standard price.
if that was the standard price for the whole season we would avg 41p after seasonality and Eodc was taken into account
That’s 7.33p more than 2021
It’s easy to forget how the prices rises have all been fairly recent.
Just spoke to the Muller rep and he's sounding quite hopeful for another milk price increase for March, could be circa 2p, but he isn't sure, would be 36p then
Well, he’s got you off his back in a good mood, let’s hope it’s not less
So he was building you up with false hopesMuller non-aligned up 1p to 35p base
Good news maybe just beIng prudent in a difficult few years !Omsco letter a positive step, extra 0.5ppl back dated to October, think or will pull us to 40ppl with an extra 1ppl due in January to.
Every little helps all that but really .25 is thing of the past really in my book.Saputo increase 0.25ppl for 1st March taking standard litre to 36ppl
I don’t think they think anyone would leave? Why are Muller always on the back foot? Where’s the advantage or premium 1p for March, clearly not good enough. As they like to portray themselves as a “premium player” their price is lower than the second division processors without jumping through the hoops of the Muller disadvantage.
Have heard rumours lately from a couple of sources that they’ve got 100 leaving, wether that’s moving on or exiting the industry I don’t know indeed one of my sources has had it confirmed by that most reliable fountains of knowledge, the tanker driver.I don’t think they think anyone would leave?

I can think of at least half a dozen that have either sold up or planning to between last autumn and spring within 10 miles or so of here, wether that’s just a local blip or similar across their milk field I don’t know.
It’ aint that long since they gave a number of producers, 34 IIRC the push
I know one of the farmers kicked off ..........was it last year or is it longer, covid has messed with my head and time, he moved to yewtree and said he was getting more money for less hassle.I know one supplier who has handed in their notice and is moving to yewtree
You do see a lot of yew tree artics running into Manchester, couldn’t say precisely which dairy they are going to?I know one of the farmers kicked off ..........was it last year or is it longer, covid has messed with my head and time, he moved to yewtree and said he was getting more money for less hassle.
