Think I would too, we're mostly purchasing cows from Kivells now after 4 generations of Greenslades.
And all on marteye? Brought some on there but nothing like seeing them in the flesh. I did think gth had a good show on Thursday tbf, we would be kivells 99% of time has handy to us

Have purchased on marteye, but did know herd they came from, worked out size of cows if Robert is in the ring. Going to sale on 31st if not doing silage, not many grazing type cows got to sedgemoor now.

That's what we are doing, are culls are normally fairly well fleshed when go so coming good money really, 1300 1400 give or take add 1k and bit and you got something decent to go on with.
some of ours, are rather bony, £3.10p/kg, can't believe it, cheque agrees though.
these are cows still milking, that won't, or shouldn't, calve again. The milk is being replaced, not sure the extra value, drying off, and fattening, would equal the milk value. Not something we have done before, but, bit more milk, young cow, i/c for block, for the difference in price, of a barrener plus a bit, never seen it so close. But we will end up with a better younger herd.

bought for years from GHT, but not for several years now, kivells look after us, the others couldn't care less. And the catalogue, is great, better than on the screen, when the cow enters the ring, gives you chance to get age, and breeding, instead of guessing
