By dropping Mays b litres to 60% and June to 70% this will generate quite a bit of free cash that has to stay in the UK without them dropping the headline price.

Yes , organic down 2 eurocent , but the currency coming forward keeps it to one Eurocent taking manufacturing price to 41.77 and liquid 40.16

I think they have probably over paid for the spring milk and now feeling the effect and need some cash back. Price they were paying was a bit bullish.

They do need to throw away their crystal ball though as these long range price changes are not sensible/working/correct.

For all their spiel otherwise, all they have ever done is follow the market. When ex-DCD secretary Michael Masters raised the price at Barbers in the way he did, DC followed.

sorry my point was around milk volumes and how DC won't go short. not the cost of those litres.
