Paynes hide a so called balancing charge of minus 0.8ppl that you dont see in their headline price unless you are one of their producers and lucky enough to get a milk statement from them every month and that is for 4.5% fat too
 
A sobering thought here for you.....
If the pound were to return to pre-referendum strength, we’d be looking at uk milk prices of around 23 to 24p now, never mind spring​
Though the UK market value would increase accordingly into the Arla pot due the strength of the pound. So it wouldn’t be as clear as just the currency dragging the price down.
