A standard litre is based on level supply and Omsco have one if not the harshest seasonality penalties in the market , so given that the average organic supplier peaks in the spring even if AYR calving then a standard litre price would be very flattering to Omsco in comparison to what it actually pays outs ,so no need to be shy ,you have nothing to fear by quoting a price based on the Milk Prices.com standard litre , fire away !

There is a reason for the harsh seasonality. A more level price with concentrates at circa £400/t and organic being mainly grass based would be a massive over supply compared to what the market requires. Even with that seasonalty we still have extreme spring calvers.
It's called balancing. Hence why the market is looking for litres from now on especially when schools go back.

With a relatively level supply, looking like will be within 15% with highest month production compared to lowest month we will have a average of circa 37ppl with bacto of 31 so missing out on a 1ppl but full ssc bonuses this takes into account milk prices of 42p and 31.25p.

I didn't say there wasn't a reason for it , just you have nothing to fear quoting a standard litre price , you seem to have plenty to say about Arla but nothing on Omsco

Sorry you have confused me now. I posted about OMSCos 13th payment.
Said about OMSCos bacto and SCC payments.
Mention the reason for the OMSCos seasonality due to balancing.
But you said

It has been all about OMSCo hasn't it? I made no mention of Arla did I?
Feel free to apologise in your own time.

Care to go back through this and other threads and count all the times you have posted something negative or challenging about Omsco and compare to all the negative things you have posted on Arla , can you quote even a single time you have posted something about Omsco or have been rude about their farmers/reps .

Why would sorry be the word I'm looking for , I never mentioned Today you did , nor am I talking years months although it has been , minutes would do .
I have no doubt you challenge Omsco behind closed doors , just perplexed as to why you then choose toso publicly criticize Arla for minutes ,months and years , over and over like a broken record . Nobody feels the need to constantly criticize Omsco , indeed the only reason they are ever mentioned is to defend our Co-op from your attacks , anybody would think from your constant belittling of Arla that your co-op is paying a far better price than Arla but we know that not to be the case .
As a director of Omsco do you not feel it a bit unprofessional given that it sours the relationship between our two co-ops that work together ?

Your the one that brought up Arla in this thread today. Not me. Dragging up old discussions. I haven't mentioned Arla in a long time. Only today with the posting of the UK results. Raising the main points that i read in the press. Should they not be raised within TFF for discussion?

I also challenged free range mmb. I was told I shouldn't challenge that either.
That was what 30 months ago how far has that got with its near billion litres "signed up"

Omsco was challenged in the fpd thread. I worked through it even with the snide comments that had nothing to do with the issue. Talk of legal challenges etc.
Really not my role within Omsco but I did it because I felt it necessary to represent those that feel they aren't getting a fair deal. Bit like some of the farmers I speak to that aren't Omsco members actually.
