I'm planning on following what happens over there when the milk price drops.... feed more to make up for drop in income.

70mm in the past 48hours, 20mm+ last week and some coming in at the weekend we're pretty well set til feb. Hopefully it won't be like last summer.

Most people are down on last season after a poor spring

Ah. Saputo are just warming us all up for the Boris Brexit.

Sure as eggs is eggs Glanbia will be issuing a "Dear John" letter in light of tariffs, Triffids, termites and terminal velocity

Hate to say it, but i have suspicions that Saputo will operate similar to Muller take over of Wisemans, they dont have cash to massive expand davidstow, the milk factor needs heavy investment now to keep with current milk intakes, so they won't worry about loosing some milk. They need a good return on investment, cant see them being a strong milk buyer in three years time.

Wonder if that's to ready us for new contract?
You mean that the ones that would be better off on it won't be so better off?

But they want more milk if they don't get it the job won't stack up that way either.

And out of interest if you think that is a good price what would you say the price was like 25 years ago when dad was getting 26ppl then.? Back then one litre of milk would buy three litres of diesel now takes two litres of milk to buy one litre of diesel.?wonder how many business would call that progress.
