Milk Price Tracker

I did the Kawarau bridge bungy 20 years ago, didn't have the guts to do the Nevis, but one of the girls in the group got the bug and did 15 or 20 bungys over two or three days .
I never worked in Nz , just took a months holiday to travel and visit the rellies after being in Oz for 11 months. Still kicking myself today for not taking another year off and working Nz :(

Never really liked roller coasters or them sort of things, certainly never wanted to do a bungee but was peer pressured into the nevis when we were in queentown. Reckoned I might as well do the big one if I'm doing one. Unreal experience. Loved it, but don't know if I could do it today.

A believe booths supermarket (albeit tiny) have ended their dedicated supply relationship with muller. Does anyone know what they have replaced it with?

How much more milk can yew tree dairies take? They've just signed up farmers by me which looks roughly a 100 mile trip one way. A new dairy conversion in the hills had just had a contract with SCC cancelled and is looking at joining them as well. They should be calving for the first time end of this month.

What’s the reason for lower production? I know I’m back about 10% even though I’ve lower dim!
forage just isn’t feeding as well as it should.
We are back on output silage not feeding as well as budget, and price of cake to milk price ratio not worth us trying to fill the gap as cows 95% in calf, waiting for the grazing season to start but feels a long way off

I think the secnd drier is coming on stream very soon and that’s where they see their future with exports.
Anyway, why should they coco as their clear and obvious schedule shows exactly what you are charged for haulage, their processing costs, their margin and what percentage you may lose in brokerage costs in periods of oversupply.
From that, you can make up your mind.
As they said to me: “ We can return you the best price but equally, we can return you the worst.”
