It's just so I can mentaly tell myself, I haven't got it all totally wrong and crap at what I do, but with 9.5ppl difference in my price I don't have a hope in hell.

Our recent price increase is only on allocation not on all our milk (about 70% in my case) we will have milk leaving the farm shortly at 26-27ppl for some of it.

Are these Arla prices being quoted on all the milk going into the tanker.

How on earth can they give you only 27ppl for your B litres, even Freshways paid just over 40ppl for November B litres. Hopefully December won’t be too different, although spot price back a lot in the last week

Arla organic price is on all litres. 43.31 on liquid standard litre. 45.03 on manufacturing standard litre.

We were given our allocation when we joined less than 50% of what was agreed when contracts where signed, we now operate a one man rather than a two person operation.
Unless it’s for altruistic reasons that you are organic, can you not go conventional using a lot of what you’ve learnt being organic, plus doing stuff like foliar feeding to push production on?

How have you ended up on 50% of your contracted allocation though?
And what have they said about it?

That phrase "realisable lowest net value" in the b litres small print. Means it's never going to be competitive.

Yes this is the most common sense plan, but we cant shift until Jan 2023 due to commitment on Organic Stewedship Schemes.

We were agreed on 1m litres after two year converting given 480000l with stacks of heifers due into the herd as to increase upto 1m. The staff we delt with dint answer phones and now retired. We have sold dairy animals on and srank our business.

would you not be better off putting it down to experience and moving back to conventional? Everyone is recruiting

Have you looked around?
There are producers moving processors, it's just not too overt.
