barbers pay ampe - 2p, fairest 'way', but ampe 42, will they alter ? Buying cows. to give 40ppl looks good.
Good hamper from Wyke, as well, looks like they want to keep us happy. Very easy to do, just match arla's 37.5ppl.
everyone is short of milk, fert and cake prices are not conductive to produce more, lets hope production stays low, and prices stay high.

They have, even came with a nice hamper! 😂

I think they are very worried if I'm totally honest. They have 3 retiring soon, 1 has his last collection tomorrow. Had an email saying they are getting rid of b litres for january-march and all litres will be paid on A price (instead of 80%)
But more importantly they are permanently getting rid of the 5% cap on expansion (previously if you expanded by more than 5% then all those litres would be subject to b price) and have said they want us to expand.

Been short of milk for as long as I can remember, got more retiring next year, bigger producers annoyed at the basket price and thinking of leaving bit worrying really. Might have to put a rotary in and milk 1000 holsteins 3 x a day at this rate 😍😍
Got some decent cheese there.

makes a big difference, but could have been the other way round, as has been.
with all the new climate/environmental rules coming in, with the high input costs, labour problems, cannot see a massive jump in output, and most certainly do not want to see one. We all know what happens, when production surges, in response to price increase, a price crash.

Due to @frederick goading me into milking for longer
Not having to throw 2 days milk away
And a simpler drying off regime( thanks everyone for the suggestions)
Our production for December is up 38% and our milk chq will be 51% higher.

but we’ve shut down now.

What do you see as a good outcome?
Well 3p would be a good out come imo, but probably not realistic, would like to think they could do at least another 1.5p really. If they could that every month now intil April I could live with that..... Depends how much you believe in hitting 40p base price by spring..... 🤷‍♂️
What bout your self?

That maybe, I expect there will be no quick settlement this time hence "the close of play friday"
You could well be right.... But if they are struggling to get increases at the moment then..... Is it likely to go more.
Plus I hear people are looking to else where but that could be just rumours

I think we are ahead of Wyke and Barbers. If they rose yesterday 3p then it would make an easier job
