wyke up 3p, 3 seems a popular figure this month.
speaking to our nutritionist, she has no one keen on expanding, and she does some big herds, mentioned a few housed herds, and the price of soya, eyewatering amounts per month, and, as she said, labour problems, slurry regs, etc, dampened the desire to increase. :)(y)

First collection here with a new milk buyer. Shame lorry’s not in their livery but a price increase for July from them today has definitely made my day 😊

Saputo price decision must of been a real last minute job as they've not released the pricing schedule to go with it yet. Normally its included in the email or posted on the online portal.

Should see and easy 60ppl for my December (if price holds) milk not that I produce much in December.

60p for milk, just doesn't seem possible, but l reckon it will get there. With input prices rocketing we need it. Our last apr milk was 28.95, this will be 40p+ ! Cake £269 heading towards £450 this winter.
definitely a year to max milk from forage. Listening to a chap who has a big housed herd, and his bill for soya, £40k a month, still not sure if i heard it right, but that takes some sticking, whatever the size of their milk chq.

My Dec will look like this using June increase (I dont have July bf and pro values yet)

5.5 bf x 3.914 = 21.527
4.35 pro x 7.827 = 34.047
SCC = 0
Bacto = 0
Seasonality = 2.00
Volume = 0.20

Total paid 57.774ppl

With July plus 3ppl on standard litre basis thats my easy 60ppl is achieved.

Best ring snow and order that Fendt.

You know your feed, electricity and other costs already then?
