On our basket price we seem to be level with saputo, above Crediton and below arla as a general rule of thumb

Seasonality will kick in next month, so that should wack an extra load of pounds in the bank as long as the girls carry on firing the milk out! Forecast 40000 last month and produced 52000! 😳

Just out of interest how much conc did you feed in the month?

We're finding it a bit too, not so much a drop in sales but a few long term customers have stopped coming. Sad reflection on society when people cut back on food expenditure by having lower quality before cutting out other things.
Yes still desperate to go on Holliday then moan like feck when stuck at airport. Why not wait a year or two .Or have a conscience and not fly!

As a fellow one man band with similar land, in the same month I sent 3 times your milk volume and fed 15ton conc. Only milked oad and always finish my day at 4pm.

Just trying to highlight that you are heading on the hamster wheel of higher yeild, higher feed rates but ultimately less profit.

At what quality @Manney ?

Sounds about right I think, don't know if that's good or bad but that's what it is
As you know there is another way🤣Especially if your under stocked 0.10kg/litre in a grassy May on a few more cows would give you the milk for about 5.2t conc but as we know cake/meal is a basic essential of dairy cows and not just a supplement to the green nuisance that comes out the ground. I'm going to hide now

I sent half the amount of milk off third that amount of concentrate probably for less margin(which is the important bit)
