Milwaukee grease gun

There doesn't seem to be such a thing as a "perfect" grease gun these days.
One of these, (y) over 4 years old:wideyed: with at least 12 cartridges through it every week, and still going strong

Mine is just a month old but so far it doesn't leak like described. The coupler is crap though, and the sparex one I bought the other day isn't much better.
I've all my Milwaukee stuff registered and it's been painless.

Couldn't get mine to register online whatsoever with Milwaukee, gave up in the end. But why do thay make it so difficult to register, and more to the point why can't you just have 3 years warranty in the first place? Seems they hope half the customers forgot to bother and the other half give up trying!
Exactly and in my experience they need all of there 3 year warranty I think they are probably made in the same Chinese factory as everything else just with a premium price

Buy a few alemite 3 jaw couplers off Allube. I buy them about 10 at a time dirt cheap and last very well.
Them normal 4 jaw couplers from vap and sparex etc are more expensive and rubbish.

It properly is but its not the same as the cheap stuff they also make. The chinese will make a product as good as the buyer is willing to pay for these days.

Boss has got the Milwaukee grease gun, and quite frankly it's rubbish, leaks grease everywhere and spends most of its time air locked  The only one I'd consider is the allemite one, the only reason I haven't is because my other tools are Milwaukee so I'd want it on the same batteries

That's weird mine has only ever air locked once. I never need to touch the bleed button just fire in a cartridge and away it goes. Any one else get air locks

I've got a G coupler and it's shite bet it's only had 20 cartridges through it and it leaks now, the Milwaukee grease gun is brilliant though
Mine was the same. I've bought a kit to refurbish it but never got round to fitting it. I got told the g coupler doesn't work with high pressure grease guns!

I swear alot of air locks is down to cheap duff cartridges? My alemite somehow air locks. Put cart in and use it all up no problem but use half and go back to it a day later and after half dozen pumps its Air locked. It pumps its self through though but just annoying never used to do it.

Yes it's definitely the cartridges. I had a bad batch of jcb ones and every one of them air locked, use ambra Ones from nh now and they are pretty good.

Mine has never air-locked , fantastic working gun (so far). It might be worth like others are saying to try different grease cartridges.
Only had it a couple of years so it is still pretty new but can't complain.

Yeah this can happen if you push the spring rod all the way in. Try just letting it sit half way out and use it. Must be an issue with the grease cartridge holder on some. But that helps it stop needing a bleed for sure.

Lol.. 2017. Im a playing catch up!.
