I still think english livestock farmers are looked upon as the poor relation within the nfu and the sacrificial lamb should the nfu need a deal softener with the government. Soft fruit growers seem to wield the most power and cheap seasonal labour seems to be the absolute priority. Ugandan pickers anyone?!

Just out of interest how much subsidy will each Livestock farmer receive compared to each soft fruit grower?

If you did that calculation per employee, you would realise just how well treated livestock farmers are.
