Does anybody on here run a mini telescopic such as a whacker newson, merlo etc.
Just woundering how they are performing on farm compared to maybes an older 2.5 ton machine.

Neighbour has a jcb 516-40 . Nippy thing but I would say it is a replacement for a skid steer. Take the attachment weight out and a heavy bale a of silage locks out the safety

Your local dealer will sort a demo out if you don't mind d him camping in the yard afterwards
Oh dont say that. The funds to buy one are 0. I think we all need to wait and see how the job settles down re trade deals and the sub job before any major purchases are made. Just thinking out loud long term, too many tractor loaders, 3 and no specific loading machine.

We run a kramer 1245 brilliant machine!
Punches well above it's weight
2015 model 4000 hrs it has had 1 electric fuel pump and an issue with the smart handling system all sorted. Every body's favourite machine for beding up and pallet work around the yard .the main work is mucking out old yards and hen sheds .
Would happily recommend one .

We have the weidman 4512 and it’s a real weapon. It’s def faster and more agile than a tractor and loader. So for most of the yard work it’s spot on. But for serious work; cleaning out large straw sheds; the volvo l70 is used. But 90% of the time it spot on.
Reliable too

This one's a Manitou 625, it's a very capable machine for it's size and that's an 8 string Krone bale in the spreadabale.

Been running one since 2012 and no plans to change the system, does pretty much everything in the yard.
