Mini milkers

Hello all,
Thought I'd make a group for all you small dairy farms out there e.g. less then 100 milking cows. Thought it might set a few discussions off of covering small dairy herds or even just giving young farmers wanting to start small abit of confidence to start small or even giving and taking advice to and from each other. Let's hope it's a chat everyone can come back to to discuss small dairy herds.
Many Thanks all.

Surely, and I make an exception here, size doesn’t matter ...

... as cows are cows and have the same problems etc no matter the scale

Reminds me of an old local telling me that 'one should always judge the quality of a herd of cows by the last one that arrives back from the field at milking time!'
