Do r

do rules matter????

Saw a finish thrown the wrong way today, and the lad still won the class!!

Whilst it's really the stewards job to impose penalties, most of us who judge would highlight 2 things on the score sheet. These are finish the wrong way and two wheelmarks at the finish, both being things that not a lot of people really notice.
Neither happen very often but it's a travesty when somebody wins because of either.
Buck lands firmly with organisers and judges.

The two wheelmarks rule does not seem to be understood by many Ploughmen who probably never seen a rule book. They assume two wheel marks is the tractor and plough where in fact the rule book says two tractor wheelmark. There should be no points deducted for the plough wheel not being in the tractor wheemark.

But surely Tony, it's up to anybody who elects to be a judge to aquaint themselves fully with the rules. By the same token then it's only fair that those in the know should make a point of explaining said faults to the offenders.

could have a reverse one for the finish

Take legs off one side and fit to the other and it would reverse it for you ...........................:ROFLMAO:

If the guy was over 20 points clear of the opposition then he could have been penalised but still taken 1st prize Euan ?
