Got a problem with starlings in a machinery shed. No matter what they seem to get in. Would a mist net be the answer? How legal are they?

I forget who told Queen Victoria the answer to a sparrow plague in the Crystal Palace was, "Sparrowhawks, ma'am, sparrowhawks".
If you could find an experienced falconer with a sparrowhawk, that would shift them. Probably wouldn't work in a cattle shed for fear of the bird being trampled, but a machinery shed is a different matter. They don't like it up 'em!
