Has anyone any experience with Mitox gear, Im seeing these beginning to popup locally in garden machinery shops as the budget brand.

Customer of mine bought a long reach hedge trimmer,,works ok on the level but as soon as he goes for the higher stuff ,it cuts out everytime

Can’t be any worse than the Makita 4 stroke strimmer we have. Utter shyte, starts fine, show it some work and it cuts out all the time. Been back to the dealer a couple of times, no better.

Makita here probably hasn’t managed 3 hours in the 3 years we’ve had it!

heard decent reports of Mitox in the past. Kots are going battery so good deals on 2 strokes to be had? Or switch to battery?

Is it only a blower you need?

I’ve got a Makita 4 stroke I totally cured the same problem by adding a glug of Octane booster to the petrol, buy it at any motor factors.
