Better than the recent Lamborghini advert which used adolescent girls to sell their "sexy" cars ............

Interestingly, these photos were taken by an 85yr old woman photographer (famous in Italy) but have now been pulled by Lamborghini at the instigation of the Mayor of Palermo who said that they were inappropriate

Thats sick and disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves for doing it and whoever's idea it was should be sacked and probably investigated to see what they have got at home on their pc!

why do they show an advert on TV of a girl in a L200 knocking in a fence post with a sledge hammer? Using a sledge would split the post, need to use a fencing beetle, gggrrrrr.
Don’t know why they are advertising them at all , they’ve pulled the plug on dealing with the Uk. So I guess if I ever change my L200, it’ll be for something else.
Way to go Mitsubishi!🖕

Beetle? Sledgehammer? No, no, no. Not necessary.

The flat top of a bar ir' is all that should be needed if she's used the pointy end of the bar ir' to make a good enough hole for the stake.

As for the vehicle. Probably chosen by the bloke in the household.

It could be the artist has made a photographic commentary on the subject of the sexualization of machines, and the type of paedophilia that can become entwined within sexualized marketing campaigns. We don't know the chronological ages of the models, but they seem young, and are dressed in a particular way that's been fashionable these last few years, that would not automatically be deemed provocative in a different context.

There are men out there, after all, who are the type of paedophile that waits until a girl has reached deemed age of consent before he makes attempt to abuse. How many with that tendency would lust after that car?

Just random thoughts. Afaik, I don't know anybody on this forum in RL.

They must be making one last push to clear stock orders before it becomes generally known. Every other ad I get on YouTube is for the L200, yet I haven't searched for a pickup in a good while.

It’s a great pity, as I actually really like my L200. You hear plenty of horror stories, but that could be the same for all modern pick ups. Gotta feel sorry for the dealers. Well only slightly! :ROFLMAO:

If you’re referring to the one I think you are, I think that might have been down to family reasons. That, and the nice building plot they’ve been building up on that road junction for a few decades.;)

Not bad for a business that started out as a sideline for the farm, buying cars at auction, tarting them up, then selling on.👍
